Mesalands Community College hopes to become a national training and research center for the wind power industry with this lone turbine dominating the sky in Tucumcari.  The turbine can crank out 1.5 megawatts of electricty.  

The Blue Swallow Motel--recalling the good ol' days along Route 66. 

The Route 66 Diner in Albuquerque has a photograph hanging on one of its dining room walls of the Blue Swallow Motel lit up at night in all its neon glory.

They don't build motels like this anymore.
