Punta de Agua

I took a Father's Day drive with my dog, Toby in 2009 and found myself passing through Punta de Agua ("Water Point") in Torrance County along NM Route 55.  It was the second time I had been through there, but it was such a nice day I decided to stop and take some pictures.  Here is an old windmill with the backdrop of an old, derelick ranchhouse with gables.

This is Punta de Agua as seen from the road--part of the Manzano Land Grant.

I call this portrait:  "Old and New"--a fairly recent-looking stone gazebo, the old windmill, and the double-gabled ranchhouse.  The little community is about five-miles north of Mountainair.
