Palm Springs

Palm Canyon Drive on June 2, 2006.

This is Indian Canyon Ave on October 25, 2009.  When I lived in Palm Springs, I remember the name of this street as only Indian Ave ... so, it must have been changed in the years since I've left.

Palm Springs High School--only, all this is new and didn't exist when I attended PSHS from 1974 through 1977.  In fact, where this is built used to be Nellie N. Coffman Jr High School (where I also went to school).

Beautiful Palm Canyon Drive near the old plaza.

Shops on Palm Canyon Drive.

This is in the bar and nightclub district on Palm Canony Drive just south of the old plaza.

Several canyons like this one are gouged out of Mt. San Jacinto; beautiful oasis and waterfalls (which are seasonal) are in some of them.
