Dia de Los Muertos

Day of the Dead

The Day of the Dead parade in Old Town Albuquerque.  This guy looks like Count Dracula.

Dancing down Romero Street into the South Plaza.

The parade's Mariachi Band--dancing along and playing their instruments.

The parade moving along South Plaza and ready to turn north at San Felipe Street.

One of the parade's participants.  The parade was held late--November 7, 2009 so that it would occur on a Saturday night.  Day of the Dead is usually celebrated  on November 2.

The parade continuing on South Plaza in Old Town.

The Lady and the Scarecrow dancing along and bringing up the rear of the parade.
